Multilevel Inverter with Predictive Control for Renewable Energy Smart Grid Applications

In a world where climate changes and power management are becoming increasingly important, research work focuses on renewable energy based smart grid to meet adequate demands of energy. The is modernized autonomous network that can transmit electricity effectively, conserve resources costs, increase the local grid's stability. As result, connected multilevel inverter presented in this work. controlled using model predictive control algorithm with increased levels primary goal controlling injected generated by source, improving quality current waveform, lowering THD, eliminating shift phase among voltage effort match network's requirements. Therefore, paper aims show performance analysis inverters for grids application. major concern was observed most multi-level level total harmonic distortion (THD) if switching not designed properly. case implemented minimum THD THD. analyzed different inverter. result performed 7, 11, 17, 21, 27, 31, 37 41 respectively. From it i.e., 0.35% at up 0.55% which still high as compared other existing MLI architectures. findings proposed approach decreased varying outperforms better works.
